The Big Picture
Infraday Pacific Northwest 2026
August 19 | Seattle, WA
The Pacific Northwest is at a pivotal moment for infrastructure planning—grappling with rapid population growth, climate risk, and the demand for stronger regional collaboration.
On August 19, 2026, join hundreds of leaders and over 60 expert speakers at the 5th Annual Infraday Pacific Northwest in Seattle. This one-day forum unites decision-makers from across Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia to tackle the region’s most urgent infrastructure priorities.
Building on 2025 Momentum
Last year’s forum brought together 250+ attendees and 50+ speakers, including senior officials from Sound Transit, Seattle City Light, WSDOT, King County, and the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission. Discussions ranged from finalizing the ST2 buildout to addressing wildfire resilience and workforce shortages.
-
Transportation leaders shared progress on expanding regional transit capacity.
-
Energy experts examined the balance between hydropower and renewables, underscoring the Pacific Northwest’s role in national decarbonization.
-
Municipal leaders highlighted emerging models for digital project delivery and new frameworks for cybersecurity resilience.
The 2025 program confirmed what many already knew: the Cascadia corridor is both a testbed and a bellwether for how North America will manage the intersection of growth, climate, and infrastructure modernization.
2026 Program Focus
This year’s agenda builds on those outcomes with a sharper lens on implementation:
-
Delivering Sound Transit ST3 and preparing for long-term capital efficiency
-
Scaling digital delivery with AI, data governance, and real-time project management
-
Reinforcing the regional grid through hydropower optimization, renewable integration, and cross-border energy coordination
-
Embedding resilience into capital programs to address wildfire, seismic, and flood risk
-
Innovating partnerships to attract new capital and accelerate project delivery
-
Connecting housing, infrastructure, and climate goals in a coordinated growth strategy
-
Developing the workforce of tomorrow with new models for training and retention
