On September 23, 2025, infrastructure leaders from government, industry, and technology will convene in Atlanta for a full day of action-focused panels, expert discussions, and high-value networking at Infraday Southeast.
This year’s program brings together 50+ speakers representing public agencies, utilities, engineering firms, and civic leaders — all dedicated to driving the Southeast’s next wave of critical infrastructure delivery.

2025 Speakers Include











Beka is a proud Georgia Southern University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree where she studied Geography, Sociology, and Business with a minor in Writing. She currently taking courses with the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government to become a Georgia Certified Economic Developer.












Prior to joining the team, he built a 20-year career with local governments helping them to plan for transportation infrastructure, environmental improvements, and policy challenges to improve their communities. He has advised local, state and national elected officials on a wide range of issues including public transit, metropolitan and rural transportation planning, water quality/quantity issues, land use, bicycle and pedestrian safety, legislative/regulatory affairs, transportation finance, complete streets, equity, freight, and project selection and development.
Corey received his Bachelor’s in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University in 2002 and his Master of Arts in Community Development in 2004 from North Park University.






Tuskegee University. He serves as the Director of Planning, Inspections, Permitting, and
Engineering (PIPE) for the City of Montgomery. The PIPE Department, established in 2024 as
part of Mayor Steven Reed’s initiative to restructure city government for increased efficiency and
effectiveness, plays a pivotal role in advancing these goals. Guided by the motto, “Serving our
citizens with wisdom and integrity,” PIPE is essential to streamlining processes and enhancing
service delivery throughout the city.
With more than 20 years of experience in architecture, urban planning, and public administration,
Kippy oversees multiple city departments, ensuring compliance with ordinances, building codes,
and development standards. He is a trusted advisor on complex construction, infrastructure
projects, and land-use planning, contributing to Montgomery’s sustainable growth as a key
member of the Mayor’s Cabinet.
Kippy’s career spans leadership roles in both public and academic sectors. He served as Director
of the Alabama Building Commission, managing state-wide construction and facility projects. At
Tuskegee University, he held the role of Vice President of Facilities and Construction, overseeing
campus development and infrastructure. He also served as Director of Real Estate Development
for the Montgomery Housing Authority, where he led transformative housing projects that
enhanced community living standards.
For over two decades, Kippy has shared his expertise as an adjunct professor at Tuskegee
University, mentoring future architects and construction professionals. His teaching and
professional work emphasize historic preservation, sustainable design, and large-scale project
management, reflecting his commitment to fostering innovation and environmental stewardship.
Kippy is a registered architect (State of Alabama Board of Architects), member of the National
Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and National Council of Architectural Registration
Boards (NCARB) credential holder. His projects are characterized by their focus on functionality,
aesthetic appeal, and sustainability. His leadership continues to shape Montgomery’s growth,
ensuring responsible development while preserving the city’s historic character.
Outside his professional life, Kippy is a devoted husband to his wife of over 30 years, Gena, and
a proud father to their two adult sons, Kippy Kole and Koby Kyle. His dedication to his
community, family, and profession has earned him recognition as a respected leader and mentor.



As the former Director of Climate Policy for the City of Atlanta, Dr. Garcia led the development of Atlanta’s Climate Action Plan, guided the city’s entry into the 100 Resilient Cities initiative, and represented Atlanta at COP23 in Bonn, Germany. His leadership earned him the U.S. EPA National Individual Climate Leadership Award in 2017.
Today, through his work at Urban Climate Nexus, Dr. Garcia advises cities, agencies, and organizations on implementing actionable climate strategies. His career bridges academia, public policy, and on-the-ground implementation—making him a trusted voice on the future of sustainable infrastructure in the Southeast and beyond.

This gives you the agility you need to adapt as your business needs evolve. To date, over 600 private and public apps have been developed on kBuilder, and public apps are available to the Kahua community on the kStore app marketplace.
